Following the Raks Thai Foundation five-year strategy 2006-2010, the Finance and Administration Department (FAD) will aim to improve/maintain administrative systems to meet international standards. In achieving this goal the FAD will use a Good Organization Governance approach. The important characteristics are:

1) Transparency
2) Accountability

FAD has adopted the Thai Accounting Standard and the International Accounting Standard that are considered internationally accepted. Raks Thai Foundation has also set up an internal control system using external independent audit firms. The results have been used to improve systems and transparency.

Raks Thai Foundation uses both international and local firms to conduct audits of its various projects. Some of the firms that FAD has worked with are Sukapat and Sahai, Price Water House Coopers ABAS Ltd., Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Jaiyos Audit Co. Ltd.
