In 2000, Raks Thai Foundation announced its Vision and Mission as follows:       Vision   A Civil Society, with improved quality of life, rights and equality, where people determine their own destinies and development is sustainable.           Mission   Strengthen the capacity of poor and disadvantaged communities to analyze root causes of problems, determine suitable solutions and participate in development activities.
