Environmental Women’s Empowerment Children/Youth Health Emergency Response

 Many women in Thailand face uncertainty and violence in their daily lives. 

She made it  

project aims to empower women who face restrictions and have limited power, voice and choice to have skills, resources, and opportunities to compete in markets and gain power to control and benefit from economic gains. 
The example target groups in this project are women who lose their husbands due to the ongoing conflict in Thailand’s southernmost provinces and highland ethnic minorities who need to relocate from the forest to the city due to climate change.

Together with Raks Thai Foundation, Southern women groups have developed Batik clothing, which is the local clothing made from hand-drawn designs. In parallel, highland ethnic minority women groups created knitted bags and jewelry, developed from their experience of making woven baskets that are used to carry their belongings when they relocate.

“ดอยสุเทพหายไป” ภาพคุ้นเคยของคนเชียงใหม่ที่ไม่ใช่ปรากฏการทางธรรมชาติ แต่เกิดจากฝุ่นละอองขนาดเล็ก PM 2.5 มลพิษที่อันตรายและส่งผลเสียต่อสุขภาพ อย่างมาก PM 2.5 มาจากการเผาไหม้และการผลิตพลังงานจากเชื้อเพลิง

จากรายงานผลการดำเนินงานเพื่อบรรลุเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนของประเทศไทย (Voluntary National Review: VNR) ประจำปี 2564 พบว่าประชากรราว 8.25 ล้านคนยังขาดแคลนน้ำประปาและจำเป็นต้องใช้น้ำจากแหล่งที่ไม่ถูกสุขอนามัย

ทำไมคนต่างจังหวัดต้องดูรายการทีวีที่มีเนื้อหาส่วนใหญ่เกี่ยวกับคนกรุงเทพฯ เราจะมีสถานีโทรทัศน์ชุมชนที่ผลิตเนื้อหาเพื่อตอบโจทย์การรับรู้ข่าวสารของคนในชุมชนและพื้นที่ใกล้เคียงกับที่ตนอาศัยอยู่ได้หรือไม่ และจะทำได้อย่างไร เหล่านี้เป็นคำถามที่นำมาสู่โครงการ “ทีวีชุมชนอันดามันมั่นคง”
