Environmental Women’s Empowerment Children/Youth Health Emergency Response

 Many women in Thailand face uncertainty and violence in their daily lives. 

She made it  

project aims to empower women who face restrictions and have limited power, voice and choice to have skills, resources, and opportunities to compete in markets and gain power to control and benefit from economic gains. 
The example target groups in this project are women who lose their husbands due to the ongoing conflict in Thailand’s southernmost provinces and highland ethnic minorities who need to relocate from the forest to the city due to climate change.

Together with Raks Thai Foundation, Southern women groups have developed Batik clothing, which is the local clothing made from hand-drawn designs. In parallel, highland ethnic minority women groups created knitted bags and jewelry, developed from their experience of making woven baskets that are used to carry their belongings when they relocate.

You can help them through donation to Raks Thai or by buying their products. All the proceeds will go to the women groups directly. Your support will help them to gain confidence and reduce stigma and discrimination from others because now they have the capacity to sustain themselves and their family members.

เด็ก ๆ มีสิทธิที่จะได้รับการพัฒนา อันเป็นสิทธิพื้นฐานของเด็กทุกคนเมื่อเกิดมา ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเด็กเชื้อชาติ สัญชาติไหนหรืออาศัยอยู่ที่แห่งใดบนโลกใบนี้ ไม่เว้นแม้แต่เด็ก ๆ ลูกแรงงานข้ามชาติที่อาศัยอยู่ในเมืองไทย พวกเขา/เธอก็มีสิทธิที่จะได้รับการศึกษาเช่นเดียวกัน แต่การเข้าถึงการศึกษาของเด็กกลุ่มนี้

ช่วงเวลาเกือบ 3 ทศวรรษที่ผ่านมา แรงงานข้ามชาติเข้ามาเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในอุตสาหกรรมการผลิตและการบริการของระบบเศรษฐกิจไทย เป็นจำนวนมาก มูลนิธิรักษ์ไทยเล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญที่จะต้องให้ความช่วยเหลือแก่กลุ่มแรงงานข้ามชาติ ให้ตระหนักถึงสิทธิของตน โดยได้ดำเนินโครงการต่าง ๆ ผ่านหลากหลายโครงการ

สถานการณ์การตั้งครรภ์ในวัยรุ่นเป็นประเด็นปัญหาที่สำคัญของประเทศไทย และเมื่อพิจารณาข้อมูลในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน(จังหวัดอุดรธานี หนองบัวลำภู เลย หนองคาย บึงกาฬ สกลนคร และนครพนม) พบว่าประชากรอายุระหว่าง 15-24 ปีมีเพศสัมพันธ์ครั้งแรกไม่ปลอดภัย/ไม่ป้องกัน
